One of the major issues facing it is the lack of an actual BR lineup to play it with, you're either forced drag it up to 6.7 where it is easily outclassed by literally anything that looks in it's general direction, or drag 4.7s, 5.0s, 5.3s and 5.7s up with it to 6.0, where they're outclassed. People also point to it's win-rate on thunderskill as proof that there's nothing wrong with it at 6.0, but that win rate is probably primarily due to the tank being used as a last resort backup in 6.7 matches, and the fact that it's more likely that more skilled players who have been playing for longer are willing to have dropped over £30 on this thing. And no-one complains about the Churchill at 4.7 being impossible to pen, so I don't see why the same level of armour is considered so thick that it has to be at 6.0 in order to be penetrated.

But that's no different than the Churchill Mk VII at 4.7, if anything the armour is slightly worse because the BP lacks the add-on armour upgrade that the Churchill gets, and one of the front hull plates is slightly thinner. People tout it's armour as "It's needs to be at 6.0! I has 152mm of armour". There are currently no less than five separate threads on the front page of the British heavy tank section of the War Thunder forums begging for this thing to be downtiered, so the issue with this tank isn't specific to me. It's one of the least played tanks in the game, and it's reviews on steam are mostly negative, for good reason (or were mostly negative, Gaijin removed it off of to steam store). I even know friends who own it, and they still never use it because of how bad it is. You can't activate this item for the PSN-account.Currently, the Black Prince is arguably one of the worst tanks in the entire game, I have never seen anyone ever play the Black Prince besides myself when I play it.
